Grant Haua & The Soul Decree

Residing in Tauranga New Zealand, Grant Haua picked up the guitar at age 13, and in his own words, “I am still learning that guitar today”. Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist on 7 studio albums, Grant’s latest album AWA Blues was a top 25 Album of the Year in Rolling Stone Magazine, France in 2021. ‘This is the Place’ track on the album debuted at No.1 on New Zealand’s iTunes Blues charts.

Grant is no stranger to WA, touring annually in the West between 2015 and 2019 with New Zealand’s most in influential duo; ‘Swamp Thing” including mesmerising performances at Nannup and Bridgetown Music Festivals. Following his own path and love of Soul/Blues songwriting and performing, Grant departed Swamp Thing in 2019 pursuing his own solo career.

Europe has embraced Grant Haua’s unique sound with his powerful vocals and blistering fingers on the guitar, leading onto the signing by French label, Dixie Frog Records followed by a tour through Europe in 2022. Grant’s highlight of the Europe tour; performing a full set on iconic German Music TV Show Rockpalast.

Grant Haua shall be accompanied on stage for the Western Australia ‘Tough Love Tour’ 2023 by WA’s own The Soul Decree: John Wilson on Bass Guitar, Marcus Tromp on Drums and the captivating support vocals of Elise Lux. This ‘Salt of the Earth’ humble guy leaves nothing behind on stage after every performance.
